Grow
Supporting every child to grow into a confident, capable individual.

Every child in our care is growing at their own pace, in their own order, and we plan around that rather than around a fixed age-based checklist. We use Australia's Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) to track and support each child's developmental milestones, but the framework serves the child, not the other way around. Day to day, that looks like educators helping children become successful learners, confident and creative individuals, and active, informed members of their community.
The early years are when problem-solving, curiosity, experimentation and research first take shape as habits of mind, so we try to build genuine opportunities for all four into the daily program, not just at “learning time”, but throughout the day.
Practically, this means noticing what a specific child is already good at, curious about, or working through, and building on that rather than redirecting them toward something more convenient for us. Children who are met this way tend to grow into learners with a strong, resilient sense of their own social and emotional wellbeing, which, more than any single skill, is what actually carries them into school.
